Here's an operating manual for a Howard Miller Accuwave DS "radio-controlled" clock.
Of particular note is the fact that the device does not work very well in California. As such, you must be patient to set these clocks manually -- they seem to need to "struggle" for an hour or so before you can manually adjust them.
Update 3/13/2014: Since the daylight savings time switch, my clock reset itself about four times, frequently setting itself 20 minutes behind the correct time. I determined that the issue was caused by a low battery.

Thanks for sharing this! Yours was the first reliable copy of these instructions; even Howard Miller doesn't have the instructions on their site!
Kudos from Houston, TX!
A big DIDDO for the instructions; even How.....
A third thank you. We've had this clock through three houses, so one would think we'd remember how to adjust it. The problem: it worked seamlessly for years, unlike our memories.
Kudos!
Hi! Thank you very much for posting this instructional! Like one of the previous commentors, I could never find the exact movement mechanism anywhere else either before I found yours. They all work just a bit differently enough to render the other instructions being not too helpful. When I saw the diagram and read the instructions here, everything made perfect sense. The one thing that was really hanging ours up was the DS button being hung up inside the plastic cover because the access hole was too small for the button to work freely. When you depressed the button, it easily got hung up. I used a drill bit to open up the hole so now the button has plenty of clearance. I went through your posted reset instructions, now it recognizes DS time perfectly! Thanks again!
