As of the time of this writing, the OpenWRT "Network Monitoring" guide doesn't have a link to an absolutely fantastic tool: luci-app-bandix.
Again, as of the time of writing, the author hasn't submitted this as an "official" OpenWRT package apparently because of performance concerns on less capable hardware. However, this package works great on my BananaPi BPI-R3 with less than 10% CPU load while actively rendering in my web browser window.
